Ripple of Hope Awards
In 2005, The Network established the Ripple of Hope Awards to recognize the most outstanding among us—employees and Mentors whose passion, energy and skill have created a positive impact in the lives of others. Whether they work in direct care, operations or supporting business roles, these outstanding employees and caregivers create a “ripple of hope,” and a legacy of compassion and caring for others to follow.
There is no single definition of success at Alabama MENTOR. For some, it’s an child’s satisfaction after reaching a goal in the community with the help of remarkable employees committed to our mission. For others, it’s seeing a teenager get back on track with dedicated support from their Mentor.
Alabama MENTOR believes in everyday miracles. And our employees and caregivers are devoted to making them happen for the people we support. The stories showcased in this section demonstrate the power of individual achievement, personal breakthrough, and lives well lived. They introduce amazing people and illustrate the life-changing impact of our programs.
