Ripple of Hope
As a former caseworker, clinical coordinator and program services coordinator, Deloris Johnson has worn many hats since she joined Alabama MENTOR. It’s those hats—and her willingness to throw the appropriate one on whenever needed—that led her to her current role.
Our Stories
There is no single definition of success at Alabama MENTOR. For some, it’s an child’s satisfaction after reaching a goal in the community with the help of remarkable employees committed to our mission. For others, it’s seeing a teenager get back on track with dedicated support from their Mentor.
Alabama MENTOR believes in everyday miracles. And our employees and caregivers are devoted to making them happen for the people we support. The stories showcased in this section demonstrate the power of individual achievement, personal breakthrough, and lives well lived. They introduce amazing people and illustrate the life-changing impact of our programs.
